Keeping Safe Online

Whilst the internet is a great space where we can share ideas, views and opinions on topical issues, making sure that you keep safe online is important.

Off the Record uses social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook so that we can encourage discussion, debate and diverse views as well as create a supportive online environment for young people in Croydon, Merton and Sutton.

If you do use our pages, please remember that what you post is there for the whole world to see, whether that's a tweet, status update or a picture. Be careful of both your own privacy as well as those around you. Also, please never give out your home address and personal contact details with strangers, and never go to meet people on your own that you've only spoken to online.

For more information on how you can keep yourself safe online, have a look at some of the links in the Online Help section in our directory.
