Exams – it’s a stressful time and you might be reading this feeling like the pressure’s building. We all know they’re coming, but as the exam dates get nearer, you might find you need a bit of extra support to get you through the next few weeks and months.
Off the Record are here to help, so that if you need some support, please reach out to us … and to those in around you.
Here’s a list of what’s happening in March, April and May to help you get through it all -
Social media – check out Off the Record’s social media sites for daily top tips from Anya, Off the Record’s Education and Support worker, giving you great advice throughout April and May on how to survive the exam period.
Self-help resources – Check out these resources from CAMHS for lots of information about what happens to us when we are struggling with exam stress and anxiety and lots of ideas of how to manage the stress.
Online workshops – Free, friendly and informal Online Workshops on Wednesday 24th April @ 5pm. Any young person can sign up and join - as long as you’re 14-25 and from Croydon, Sutton or Merton.
Walk-in counselling sessions – If coming to an online workshop isn’t for you and you would like some more support and guidance, come along to one or more of our weekly walk-in counselling sessions which are held every Tuesday between 3.30 and 5.30 pm at Off The Record, 172 Croydon Road, Beddington CR0 4PG.
Book an exam stress support session – You can also get one-to-one support by giving us a call to arrange one or more exam stress support sessions with one of our team either in person or over the phone. To arrange call 020 3984 4004 or email email@example.com
Support in your school – Many schools are offering support for exam stress, don’t struggle on your own ask your head of year what support your school has available to you.
Exam results – if you would like support on the lead up to your exam results or once they are published please do get in touch.
