This year Off the Record is 25 years young and we're having a party to celebrate!
In November 2019, Off the Record celebrates 25 years of delivering services to young people in South London.
The charity began in 1994 with 3 members of staff, offering one service in one borough and, by the time of our anniversary event in November, the charity will have over 50 staff delivering 7 distinct services in three different boroughs. This expansion would not have been possible without committed funders; dedicated staff; our range of professional partners and, of course, the large numbers of young people who have placed their trust in us. We are now working with the children of some of the young people who originally used us when we first opened twenty-five years ago!
We are inviting individuals who have either worked or volunteered with us, or been an integral part of our story in some other way, to come and join our 25th anniversary event. If that sounds like you and you haven't received an invitation yet then please send us a message.
We have incredible guests joining us for the special event, including spoken word poet, Tanaka Fuego and our guest speaker Dr Saz Ahmed, who will be delivering a presentation on neuroscience of the adolescent mind.
This is an important milestone for us. We're looking forward to the celebrations!
