Children's Grief Awareness Week: 18 - 25 November
National Grief Awareness Week: 2 - 8 December
Many of us have been impacted by the loss of loved ones because of the pandemic and as a result, the need for bereavement support has increased amongst children and young people. Also, in the boroughs we work in, some young people are mourning close friends whose young lives are tragically cut short by violence, sudden death and suicide.
For Children’s Grief Awareness Week 2021, we worked with the artist at Draw Cartoons to produce a series which illustrates a journey through grief. We will be sharing the illustrations on Instagram throughout the week and hope they will bring you some comfort and help you to feel less alone.
