Talk to a Practitioner for Free at One of Our Drop-ins
The winter months can feel complicated. For some, the season brings excitement, celebration, and rest – but for many young people, it can also bring pressure, uncertainty, and moments of feeling alone. At Off the Record, we understand that this time of year can be tough, and we’re committed to ensuring no young person feels unsupported. So, our doors are open during the winter break, offering a safe, warm, and welcoming space for you to talk with one of our practitioners.
This year, our in-person winter drop-ins are happening across all our buildings, so you are welcome to attend whichever site works best for you – no need to book or call ahead. Whether you’re struggling, need someone to talk to, or just want a quiet place to take a breather, our team is here.
Why Winter Drop-ins Matter
The holidays can amplify a lot of feelings, the good and the difficult. The break can also be a time of change, paused routines, intense family dynamics, and you might find yourself with more free time than usual and overthinking. For some, this time of year brings loneliness, for others, it is simply overwhelming.
Our drop-ins are designed to be easy, relaxed, and accessible. You don’t need an appointment, you don’t need to explain anything in advance, and you don’t need to commit to anything long-term. Just come as you are. We are here to listen, support, and offer tools to help you get through the season.
Whether you want practical advice, emotional support, or just the reassurance of being around friendly faces, we have a place for you.
