We’re proud to be attending the opening of the brand-new Mental Health Garden at Norwood Junction Station on World Suicide Prevention Day on Wednesday 10th September.

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life - especially in busy urban areas - having a peaceful green space to pause, reflect, and breathe can make a real difference to our wellbeing. This space is designed to support mental health, encourage calm, and remind people that they’re not alone.

World Suicide Prevention Day is a crucial time to raise awareness and support open conversations about mental health. It’s a moment to show solidarity with those who are struggling, and to support young people in our communities who may be at risk. Suicide is preventable, and together we can help create an environment where no one feels alone in their battle.

We’re honoured to be part of this event and to stand alongside others who care deeply about mental health. If you’re passing through Norwood Junction Station, take a moment to visit the garden created by Arriva Rail London, it’s a small but powerful reminder that support is always within reach.

Let’s keep talking, keep listening, and keep creating spaces that help us feel safe, seen, and supported.
