Are you aware of a young person who has been affected by youth violence?

The CHRIS team offers free, confidential support to young people in Croydon aged 14-25, who have been affected by Serious Youth Violence.

Young people must:

  • Be aged 14-25 
  • Live, work, study, or have a GP in Croydon
  • Be suitable for talking therapy (i.e, no psychosis).  
  • Willing to access support and wanting to make positive changes in their lives
  • Have been affected by Serious Youth Violence which includes;
    - Having witnessed
    - Lost someone to
    - Survived and
    - Perpetrated SYV

What we offer: 

  • Contact within 48 hours of referral (not including weekends) 
  • Assessment appointment offered within 2 weeks 
  • Weekly check in calls/texts while awaiting assessment/ support
  • Access to our Telephone support line 6 days a week 
  • Short waiting times 
  • Flexible support; telephone and video call support available as well as face to face meetings in our buildings or out in the community 
  • Number of sessions offered can be flexible
