The journey you have as refugee, asylum seeker or forced migrant can be very difficult and can impact how you live on a day to day basis. Some of your feelings and thoughts might be difficult to manage. Compass can help you manage those feelings and thoughts. We work with a wide range of issues, including trauma, loss, self-harm, suicide, anxiety, isolation and sleep problems.
Compass is a specialist counselling service that provides confidential support in Croydon to refugees, asylum seekers and forced migrants who are aged between 11 - 25.
If you would like to find out more about Compass, you can contact us directly and talk to one of our counsellors. We will arrange to meet you to talk about the support you need. Your social worker, key worker or family may be able to help you with this.
If Compass works in your school or college, you can ask the counsellor for an appointment or ask your teacher to make a referral to Compass.
If you are a parent, carer or professional and think someone would benefit from counselling, please talk directly to them first to see if they are interested. Give them our multilingual counselling leaflet which can be downloaded from this page. If the young person would like counselling, either contact Compass directly or email a completed referral form to us.
