Life can feel overwhelming sometimes — and it's okay not to manage alone. You might be feeling sad, scared, angry, or hopeless. When we bottle things up, it often makes things harder. Reaching out for support is a brave step, and it can help you find your own way through.
Counselling gives you a confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained listener — at your own pace, without judgement. It's a place to understand yourself better and start making changes that feel right for you.

Our Merton counselling service is free and open to young people aged 11–25 who live, work, or study in Croydon. You can refer yourself — no GP needed.
We use a Humanistic approach, drawing on Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Existential, and other humanistic models. You can find out more about these approaches on the BACP website.
