From April 2019, our support for Merton young people has increased. With additional funding from Merton Clinical Commissioning Group and the Wimbledon Foundation, we are expanding the services we offer to meet the emotional needs of more young people who live in Merton. This will allow us to greatly expand the small pilot service we have been running in Merton over the last two years and offer an increased level of support.

If you are aged 11-25 and live in the London borough of Merton (or have a GP in the Merton borough) you can now access emotional support ranging from one-off support through our walk-in counselling sessions and outreach work through to our ongoing support through individual online counselling and face-to-face counselling. If you're under 13 we will need the consent of your parent/carer.

You can get in contact and refer yourself by calling us on 020 3984 4004 or emailing us at merton@talkofftherecord.org. If you're aged 11-17 you can also be referred to us through Merton CAMHS SPA (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services, Single Point of Access).

Off the Record is an established charity which has been providing free, professional support to young people in Croydon, Sutton, and most recently Merton over the last 25 years. Our staff share a vision of “Bringing an end to mental health misery for children and young people in South London”.

Off the Record offers young people individual, face-to-face and online counselling across all three boroughs, and last year received over 1,200 referrals and offered young people over 7,000 counselling sessions.  Our work has been recognized through a national award programme with the charity receiving the prestigious 2019 GSK IMPACT award for our work to improve young people’s health and wellbeing.
